Artist Statement

​"My art comes straight from the memories, culture, and daily hustle that shaped who I am. Growing up in East New York Brooklyn, as one of seven kids, my mother always protected and fueled my creative spark, even when things around us were tough. Surviving that intensity taught me early lessons about resilience, family, and keeping your dignity in a world that often demands you pay just to exist.

When I paint, I bring together bold lines, raw street art, layered shapes, and human forms to capture what it feels like to live through modern life. Some of my pieces are personal—reflections on family, heritage, and spirit. Others are a direct pushback against hard labor and a system that treats people like line items. Ultimately, I use my own story to talk about something bigger: how we hold onto our honor, our strength, and our humanity no matter what we’re up against."
